    Wise good words In my opinion it is not the Jews that are disliked before the district differences ALL people have - and by default that divides- and it's Zionism they disdain. And remember Rome before them? Like England was loved around the world or something...?! No it's power groups that people dislike, just like some Palestinians don't like Hamas I'd put money on it The Jews and Elite on all sides have a chance to change the world. You can do it. I respect your words

    We will fight to reclaim that Semitic term! You have taken a term and applied it to one race - that on most part aren’t even Semitic! You’ve hijacked that great word! Every non-gentile who manipulates this word is an Anti-Semitic! Watch how we win back that word! Enough is enough!

    you don't look like you are feeling the pain of the people of Gaza, on the contrary. And why you confuse antisemitism with people being angry with Israeli atrocities looks like farcical arrogance - good luck with that.

    This is part of our parsha reading this Sabbath and with Numbers 20v12 it would appear to me that the reason was Moses didn't give the praise to Elohim for this miracle. He says " must we bring water from this rock". Hashem says you did not hallow me in the eyes of the people. The people were always focused on Moses and Aaron. Their every complaint was against them always complaining never calling a prayer or praise service for all Elohim had done before. And this situation only kept them looking at Moses. Our eyes and our hope must be in the God of Abraham Issac and Israel always. Not trusting in the arms of flesh Jeremiah 17 reminds us of the end result of doing that. Thanks for your time

    But I guess the words "apartheid", as well as "persecution" (and also "cruel" and "domination") were chosen exactly in order to convey a political message, that is: there can be no context that justifies this. Besides the fact that Amnesty probably rejects the Israeli description od "context", and they probably believe a legal and historical narrative more aligned to the Palestinian one, or to the UN resolutions, I think the choice of a stigmatizing word as "apartheid" stands clearly to indicate that any context would be anyway irrelevant, since nothing could justify the status quo, or the Nakba. The status quo is a crime against humanity and there is no context that can explain away a crime against humanity. As a corollary, there is probably no peaceful or negotiated resolution that could be possible, because persecution or crime cannot be negotiated over.

  • @BrianFullerPDX1
    @BrianFullerPDX1 2 роки тому

    Seeing Apartheid apologists desperately try to cling to their humanity while excusing the horror show that Israel has become is painful in the extreme. Here is the truth: Apartheid is a crime against humanity. The "two-state solution" is impossible now, physically, politically and economically. Moving half a million squatters back into Israel proper would start an Israeli civil war. Israel is experiencing a housing shortage, there is no where to put them. There is not enough land or water left under Palestinian control to form a coherent economic state. These are the facts, painful as they may be for the proponents of government based on race and religion. There is only one solution possible now: one state with a separation of church and state, and equality before the law for all its citizens, regardless of race, religion or creed. We have all of human experience from before the enlightenment to show us what government based on tribe and religion ALWAYS devolves down to. Israel CLEARLY has not proven an exception. No, it is time for Israel to become a modern western democracy, it is time for the persecution of the indigenous population to end. 92% of the residents of GAZA don't even have clean drinking water- tomorrow is too late. A whole generation of Palestinians has been born, lived and died without their freedoms, without the ability to travel, without equality or human rights. The real truth is there is only one way to truly regain your humanity, and that is to end this injustice today. Zionism is dead, its inherent inhumanity and injustice killed it. Internalize this truth before even one more victim is killed by it.
